— Our Process
A qualified engineer inspects the kitchen layout, measures the cut-out, checks gas supply and ventilation, then issues a clear written quote and timeline.
We deliver the chosen hob, cut or adapt the worktop if needed, install and connect gas pipework or reposition the outlet, and fit ventilation or extractors where required.
Final gas tightness test, burner operation and ventilation checks are completed. We provide a Gas Safety Certificate and guidance on warranty and care.
— Benefits
All installations are carried out by a Gas Safe-registered engineer with City & Guilds training and IDEAL manufacturer accreditation where applicable, protecting warranties and safety.
We handle pipework relocation, ventilation/air-supply checks and gas tightness testing, then issue a Gas Safety Certificate so landlords and homeowners have documented compliance.
Rapid survey appointments, clear written estimates, and optional extended-warranty or service-plan additions make the process straightforward and future-proof.
What we install — Built-in gas hobs, gas-on-glass models and traditional four-burner units can all be supplied and fitted. Installation covers cutting or modifying the worktop to the manufacturer’s specification, safe connection to the gas supply, testing for tightness and correct burner performance, and aligning seals to prevent water ingress.
Safety and ventilation — Gas hobs need adequate air supply and effective extraction. Our engineers check for a compliant airbrick or mechanical ventilation and will recommend or fit a suitable extractor if required. If the hob position needs to change we carry out the necessary pipework relocation to Gas Safe standards and complete final checks before issuing a Gas Safety Certificate.
